I'm still here everybodeh!! And I know this is like a damn delayed post but what can I say?
I admit I'm just plain lazy and ever since I've put on weight during the holidays, I'm the ultimate Garfield!
It took me so long to transfer the photos you are about to see from my camera & to resize them. And guess what? I didn't even transfer everything!! How much more lazy can a person be!
I decided to transfer the photos in parts so this post is about the 1st & 2nd days of my Hong Kong trip during New Year's eve.
Day 1
On New Year's eve, my company declared half day so super happy-lah 'cos I was actually thinking of applying for unpaid leave on that day as my flight was at 6:45pm.
So I had time to go home, have lunch, take a shower and even watch an episode of Grey's before heading to the airport.
I had to meet KitKeat at the airport 'cos he was somewhere else and couldn't make it back in time to go with me so theparents dropped me off instead.
And I kept telling themother to accompany me wait for KitKeat if we arrive first because I tend to be very self-conscious when alone and I am a wuss like that and themother said OK.
True enough we arrived earlier than KitKeat and guess what? themother asked me to get down and wait in the airport terminal 'cos she needed to rush off to Parkson to use her vouchers and she needed to go early as the traffic for New Year's eve was building up *_*
So I had to drag my huge @ss luggage and walk like a tortoise into the terminal to kill time and pretend to walk up to the departure screens to check which counter to check into Malaysia Airlines when the counter was right in front of my face when I walked into the terminal.
And then pretend to walk slowly to the designated counter when the best part was that my passport was with KitKeat wtf.
Fast forward: KitKeat arrived, checked-in, we flew business class 'cos Malaysia Airlines had a promo of Buy 1, Free 1 business class airfare so we got to utilise their lounge:
If you're wondering why my clothes are so baggy it's 'cos I was trying to dress like a Korean rapper but didn't have a cap to match plus the clothes hide my fats-lah ok??
The lounge was super empty:

I had the cakes & pastries corner all to myself:

**Muahahahaha ALL MINE!!!
They even had OSIM massage chairs in there!! Only KitKeat tried it out 'cos I spent quite some time in the toilet and everybody would know why no further explanation needed.
KitKeat forcing me to take a photo of him.....

Actually of his Supra sneakers.....
And just to show that my sneakers are way cooler in comparison:

We arrived at around 10pm plus and here we are on the airport train:
Since it was New Year's eve, there were road closures everywhere. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express at Causeway Bay and KitKeat said he planned leng leng already that we could sit the MTR and exit at this exit whereby when we walk out we would be standing at Holiday Inn's entrance.
But mana tau they freaking closed that particular exit so we had to exit at another place whereby we had to pull our luggage all around Times Square through the crowd to arrive at the hotel.
And I was sulking by the time we arrived because my hand hurt & KitKeat lied! *cries like a brat*
So erm I kinda missed out on the fireworks when it hit midnite 'cos I was turning my back against the window like a spoilt brat & kept making a big fuss that my little toe had a blister and that I was hungry and that we should've just gone to Kuala Terengganu instead wtf.
Thank God there was a sushi place right downstairs and they open 'til 4am ok!! Is Hong Kong this cool or wot!
Day 2We saw this cool restaurant at Causeway Bay called Hokkaido Rice Pizza and decided to try it out 'cos they serve soft serve ice-cream as well oooooo yummy!

The rice pizza was so-so. It was just rice in the shape of a pizza and erm not really that fun after all but their milkshakes & soft serve ice-cream were super duper inifinity yummy!!
And here we are at the MTR station on the way to Central actually nothing to do there at Central 'cos all things are expensive but I really wanted to go check out the Bathing Ape store.

**Why TF do I look like the hunchback of Notre Dame here...

This was actually taken IN the Bathing Ape store 'cos of their camouflage glass behind me but sadly it can't be seen here.
We were about to take another shot but apparently photos were prohibited in that store so *sniff* no photos of BAPE merchandise/decor.
We had dinner at Cafe Landmark at Central.
**Christmas tree at The Landmark
**Some abstract statue that I found interesting.
Not much photos of me because someone was busy eating to help take shots of me....

**Super excited with his foie gras spaghetti
After dinner, we went for gelato at this restaurant called Cova. Their desserts are numbar ONE ah!!
**KitKeat had mango. And it really tastes like true mango which he quotes "like the mango your father always cut for me" but seriously even I who do not eat fruity flavours found that mango gelato extremely delicious!
**I had hazelnut flavour and I have cockeye wtf
But a bit pricey though. HKD34 per scoop wtf! And they have so many branches in Hong Kong and KitKeat found a branch at Paragon in Singapore too!! Whoopeedoo!!
On the way back to the hotel, we passed by these Christmas trees with glass ornaments. And since I am easily amused like that, I had to take a photo lorr:
Stay tuned for more... when I get the effort to transfer & resize more photos *_*
...... to be continued......
