Hello everyone! I'm in Sydney!! Was in Sydney. Last week. And didn't have time to blog because we didn't want to pay for internet in the hotel 'cos we're kiasu like that.

Also 'cos I forgot to bring my SD card converter so can't post photos online.

But now we're in Melbourne and I'm in Ah Ru's place and she actually has a converter so I decided to upload 'preview' photos wtf:

Fringe Update

Ok, I know it's been like a week since I cut my fringe but what can I say? I'm slow like it is wtf.

Anyways, I wanted straight fringe rite. Like Cleopatra as Pheng puts it but apparently the stylist said that my forehead is not wide enough for it to look like it's straight and long like how I want it to look whatever-lah ok just picture straight fringe.

But then when I was in kindergarten, I wanted to grow out my fringe and have long fringe like this girl in kindergarten but themother said that my forehead is too wide and that I would need fringe to look prettier.

So tell me this. Who is telling the truth? One is a professional and expert in what he does and whole life just looking at hair until he practically knows how it tastes like and the other is a mother who gave birth to you and will always want the best for you.

I'm depressed now. I seriously don't know what to do with my fringe. I've swept it to the side once again while I figure out the best look there is....

**Haih. Why is life so difficult?

Obsession

I've got to confess. I'm currently obsessed with this DS game called "Diner Dash". One would have thought that I would be more obsessed with a more serious game such as "Trauma Centre" but no, I have to succumb to being a waitress.

And the name of the waitress in this game is called "Flo". Therefore, I'm Flo. *Looks at Jojo and sings... Apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur (with the fur)....*

What you have to do in Diner Dash is to sit customers at a specific table, take their order when they wave at you, deliver the food to the right table, give them the bill when they ask for it and then clear the table.

You will have to do this in a 'dash' because there are heaps of customers. And if you keep the customers waiting for too long, they'd leave hence your tips would be deducted.

Once you pass a few stages of a particular restaurant, you'd be able to 'open' a new restaurant. I've opened 4 restaurants so far look out ppl! I'm the next Gordon Ramsay wtf.

I don't know what's so fun about the game but I'm finding it pretty addictive.

On top of that, I have started watching Heroes Season 2 and I'm hooked to it thanks to Brother Smell Hua who gave me a set that he bought from his Jakarta trip because he didn't realise that he bought the same set before.

So every night I'd play a round of Diner Dash and watch 2-3 episodes of Heroes. This is how fun my life has become apart from having dinner 2 nites in a row with Pheng.

Anyways, I have finished my last bottle of Gucci Rush 2 and was not aware that it was the last bottle and was in denial for the past 4 days still spraying it vigorously on me pretending that the slightest squirt would still have a little bit of scent.

To Grace, Jojo, Josie, Kelly, Pheng - I'm sorry if you guys had to put up with the stinky me for the past 4 days.

I have decided to open the new bottle of Princess perfume by Vera Wang which Brother Smell Hua bought for me from his trip to dunno where I seriously cannot remember he keeps travelling ACTION-LAH NOW!


The scent was rather strong for me at first but am slowly getting used to it. The bottle is heaps pretty though:

Amanda turns 2!

The family went for dinner on Saturday to celebrate Amanda's b'day at this restaurant themother kept referring to as "Ming Kiu Sin" which turned out to be "Ming Cuisine" haih why like this and she used to be an English teacher.

Oooh look wot I found!

Was looking through the boxes on my dressing table last nite and when I opened one of them, look wot I found!!!!

My long lost Diva rubbery bangles. I bought these when I was in Sydney in 2000 and when I brought it back after holidays to KL, I couldn't find it! I thought I lost them!!


I kept thinking that I somehow threw them away when I was opening all the new stuff I bought.

But now that I found it, it's no fun seriously because we already have Diva stores popping out like nobody's business in KL. Damnit!

I'm going for a haircut later this evening with Pheng & Ju.

Actually Pheng & Ju are getting a haircut. I'm just there to cut my fringe.

Yes, I know. AGAIN! When will I ever accept the fact that cutting my fringe will never ever turn out right for me?

Btw, the photo is blurry 'cos I'm just so good at photography. My hand was shaking-lah ok!

I'm also going to visit CK's dentist tomorrow 'cos my usual dentist is away for a trip can he be more empathetic towards his patients or wot! He's gone for like 2 weeks so thank God CK recommended me her dentist.

Why do I need to go for a dental check-up is because I've been having this weird feeling that somehow there's something wrong with my upper left tooth/teeth (I say teeth because I think it has affected the tooth beside it wtf). I don't know how to explain it like the gum is wobbly but at the same time I feel a gap between the teeth (like the whole row honestly).

So I need to get it checked out because I'm paranoid like that thank you I'm aware of it but also worried that there might be cavities considering the fact that I've been chewing on chocolates with nuts for the past few weeks at work. What? Ppl stress ok!

Hopefully it will be alright.

Apparently CK's dentist does cosmetic dentistry. And he's done for pageants and all damn cute I tell you. Am going to bluff Dr. Foo tomorrow that I'm the next Ms. Bangsar and I need straighter and whiter teeth wtf.

CK: Don't tell him ah!

Ok, they have 3 flavours - Rose, Elderflower wtf & LB Original. Sad to say but I could only find LB Original in Cold Storage but not like elderflower sounded enticing too.

I tried it before the last time but it tastes like yoghurt which doesn't quite do it for me.

I went to buy more Milo packs for work last nite because I hope that one day I'd be able to compete in the Olympics and all sports ppl do drink Milo rite??? Compete in what sport I really don't know I just wanna see the opening ceremony can??

Anyways, I walked past Vitagen Collagen and let me tell you this, the image of sagging skin is the last thing I need to worry about in my life rite now.

So I went ahead to grab 2 cartons and even FanOfWarrenBuffett asked me why do I need to look so good. I really don't know? Low self-esteem? But I just told him, "so I would still look better than you if you do decide to dump me one day".

True rite? Once a guy dumps you I don't think the teary-eyed, puffy cheeks coupled with sagging skin would make you very attractive at that point in time for him to come crawling back to you lorr.

And even the sympathy tricks won't work when you look like that ok?

See? My skin's already so dull. I don't need it to sag before I realise it:


Hence, ladies & ladies out there! No harm in indulging in these things because there's always the slightest hope that it works!

P/s: If all else fails, just get an uglier bf.

Crabtree & Evelyn

I decided to get myself a new bottle of shampoo & conditioner because I have had these Crabtree & Evelyn vouchers which I redeemed from my credit card points and the vouchers have been lying on my table and collecting dust.

This is the first time I redeemed something from my credit card points since I started the card in 2005 because honestly, who needs a rice cooker at this point in time.

I got myself 3 RM100 vouchers from Crabtree and a few Borders vouchers for FanOfWarrenBuffett so he can purchase more Warren Buffett stuff.

I visited the Crabtree store in Bangsar Village II and the lady that served me was so annoying that I seriously contemplated to slap her ok!

But I held back because she was so huge that if Jack from Jack & the Beanstalk were to visit this store he'd have a dejavu moment of the giant wtf.

Every single thing that I picked up to see, she'd exclaim "Oh, this one very good. A lot of customers buy" or "Oh this one very good, very popular".

Hello! Do I eff-ing care wot other customers buy? I'm trying to find myself something that I like.

I decided on purchasing the La Source shampoo & conditioner because I've tried the body wash before and it smells real good. The smell of the sea but cleaner wtf.

And my all-time favourite Summer Hill shower gel:

I asked Ms. Giant how much altogether and she said RM195. So I gave her 2 RM100 vouchers:

Ms. Giant: I'm sorry Miss, you need to purchase something else.

Me: Why? (Because I'm cynical like that and just needed to hear the obvious answer).

Ms. Giant: Because your bill RM195, your voucher is RM200.

Me: So why don't you keep the RM5 then?

Ms. Giant: Uh.. oh... ok.

Kill me? Today, I finally understood how Jack was able to defeat the giant.

And then I was waiting for a receipt and she looked up at me and asked me:

Ms. Giant: Yes???

Me: Do I get a receipt??

Ms. Giant: I need to clip it with the voucher laaa!!!! (with a risen voice)

Ok ok, don't eat me pls I'll buy you a triple cheeseburger. Gawd!

Giants aside, I got my nails done!!!!!

Oooo... am suddenly in love with the colour yellow. I got myself 3D sunflowers and I told Jessica to do the 3D art beneath the gel this time.

I did request for her to draw a bee for my thumb but it ended up looking like an ant wtf. So sunflowers for all fingers it is.

I'm hoping the bright colours would help lift my mood for a Monday *_*
